AMS Mt Buller are the longest running Apartment Management Service on Mt Buller, established in 1997. Since 2011 the Stoneman family have been providing visitors with an extensive range of quality managed apartment accommodation. From cosy, self-contained budget apartments to the ultimate in luxury mountain chalet accommodation AMS Mt Buller are proud to offer a vast range of quality, well-positioned accommodation complete with all linen and towels supplied for your comfort so all you have to do is come in and relax.
AMS has a reputation for excellence, delivering thorough, professional and friendly services for all guests. We manage 80 apartments and houses, 50 of which are available for short term rent for your winter holiday.
With secure guest check in/check out, 24 hour key collection and after hours emergency service and support, AMS offer the complete service to make your stay on Mt Buller a truly memorable experience.
Our main office is located in Mansfield and during the winter season we operate 24/7 on Mt Buller. We offer both online bookings and welcome any enquiries or bookings over the phone with our friendly staff. At AMS, under the ownership of Chris and Shona Stoneman, our team is the heart of what we do. Each year, our staff includes a blend of dedicated locals, family members, and our extended “family” of returning staff—many of whom bring their friends along to join the team. This unique mix creates a warm, welcoming, and close-knit environment. Our employees truly treat our guests like their own friends, ensuring every stay on Mt Buller is met with care, cleanliness, and a personal touch.
Chris Stoneman
Owner & Managing Director
An ambulance paramedic on Mt Buller for 14 years, Chris knows this place like the back of his hand. Father of 3 who have all grown up skiing on Mt Buller, Chris and his wife Shona have called Mansfield home for the last 24 years. An avid snow skier, Chris also loves water skiing and breeding and showing his Arabian horses. In the summer time when not skiing overseas Chris is a builder.
Shona Stoneman
Owner
A dedicated personal trainer, Shona specializes in functional fitness and Pilates. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and expressing her creativity through embroidery and other artistic pursuits. A proud grandmother, she loves spending time with her grandkids, sharing her passions and making memories. Shona also breeds award-winning long-haired Border Collies.
Ashleigh Anderson
Manager
Currently studying Accounting at Swinburne University, Ashleigh has been an integral part of AMS for over 10 years, contributing to various roles within the team. A dedicated mother of two, she balances her studies and work with her love for riding horses, enjoying time in the saddle whenever she gets the chance.
